Bait Camp Beginner and junior sailor "Bait Camp" (ages 4-8) will focus on the skills needed to sail from one point to another and back safely. Fundamental skills will be emphasized to build confidence and foster a greater enjoyment of sailing in our children. Personal achievement rewards for accomplishing skill sets will be combined with team building activities to foster friendship and a desire to be safe on the water. With an emphasis on water safety, our goal is to change learning from a frustrating experience to a positive interactive one. We do not want a sink or swim learning experience to drive our beginners away from sailing before they can discover the pleasure of being on the water.
