Summer Sailing Sessions
TCYC provides summer programs offering instruction and coaching for children and teens ages 7-18 at all levels, from beginning sailing through advanced racing. Regardless of age, we have introductory, intermediate and advanced courses that will match students with other students that are close in age and experience in a boat that is appropriate to them in terms of physical size and strength.
TCYC’s Junior Sailing Program is staffed with a Director of Sailing that develops and manages our instructional programs; he also teaches the courses and certifies other instructors on his staff. All TCYC instructors are US Sailing certified as well as certified in First Aid and CPR. We follow US Sailing prescribed teaching methods.
TCYC’s Summer is broken into four two week sessions to allow juniors to participate as their schedule permits. Sign up for one or the entire season. Each session will have mixture of beginning, intermediate and advanced sailors so every junior will fit right in.
